Woodman Entertainment Inks Oz Distro Deal

MELBOURNE, Australia — Woodman Entertainment is now being exclusively distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Calvista Australia and New Zealand, an adult wholesale/distributor serving Australasia.

“Calvista has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with [director] Pierre [Woodman] and his talented team at Woodman Entertainment," David "Hui" Newham, general manager of Calvista Australia and New Zealand, said. "This is another major addition to Calvista’s portfolio of quality international adult brands. We look forward to building the Woodman brand over the next three years."

Woodman had similar positive predictions for the future of the distribution deal: “My movies have always been very well received in Australia so it is a great pleasure for me to sign this exclusive distribution agreement with Calvista.

"Australia is an increasingly important market, and I know that the partnership with Calvista will give us the firmest possible foothold there and be an important step in converting Woodman Entertainment into a truly worldwide brand with distribution currently in 23 countries.”

Calvista offers adult wholesale distribution throughout Australasia, with more than 10,000 lines, covering products from toys and lubes to DVDs. The company maintains major distribution hubs in Australian cities Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra, as well as Auckland, New Zealand. Calvista provides local representation for the world’s best adult brands through sales and customer service. The company has been in continuous operation for more than 20 years.
