Webair Buys Canadian Web Hosting Company Wisol

NEW YORK — Web hosting company Webair has purchased Montreal-based Wisol.com, in a move that reportedly will increase routes to Webair’s global customers and add increased peering and new sites for global mirroring.

Webair will offer co-located, dedicated hosting services in its new Montreal facility.

“It’s all about better service and providing the latest technological solutions for our growing roster of worldwide customers,” Webair.com President Michael Christopher said.

“Acquiring Wisol provides our company with increased market share and our clients with the best hosting services anywhere on the globe. With more locations comes increased reliability and advanced connectivity options. Along with the Montreal acquisition, we are expanding our footprints in New York and Amsterdam as well.”

The Webair acquisition follows a successful appearance at the Ad Tech interactive advertising and technology conference held recently in New York.

Webair also recently invested in a new server, offering its clients new virtual, dedicated and virtual private server solutions.
