The 6th annual awards ceremony will once again anchor the XBIZ Hollywood Industry Conference, running Feb. 6-8 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Now in its second year, the 2008 conference will bring leaders from all sectors of the industry together for three days of intimate networking, top seminars and keynotes, a full slate of activities and parties and of course the coveted XBIZ Awards.
"I am so excited to be asked to host the award show,” Jesse Jane told XBIZ. “I love XBIZ. This is a huge honor, and you know KB and I are gonna rock it!"
Jane is one of only a few adult entertainment performers to attain true superstar status. It took only three years for the blond, green-eyed beauty from Fort Worth, Texas, to move from Hooters manager to Hawaiian Tropics pageant winner to international fame with a Digital Playground contract.
Since then, Jane has graced hundreds of magazine covers, landed leading roles on several mainstream TV shows, starred in a multitude of music videos, appeared frequently on top radio shows, and has even hosted her own program on CBS Radio for Miller Light and the Playboy Mansion.
And of course, Jane remains one of the most popular adult performers in the business today.
A legend in his own time, Blatt has been in the adult entertainment business for 11 years, working in public relations and affiliate marketing for a number of leading companies. He currently is the director of public relations for GameLink, but is perhaps best known for his recent foray into sex-tape brokering and reality TV.
As the star of the mainstream documentary "American Cannibal," Blatt has garnered a decade’s worth of publicity as the “sleazy porn guy” who steals the movie with his witty observations and humor. He currently is shopping a reality show project, "Virgin Territory," but will take time from his hectic schedule to grace the stage of the 2008 XBIZ Awards.
“I’m so happy to be hosting the XBIZ Awards this year,” Blatt said. “It’s not only a great privilege, but after last year's awesome awards show in Hollywood, it’s a special honor be asked to cohost with Jesse.
"And of course, what could be better than seeing two of the biggest stars in the industry on one stage at the same time. I heard Jesse’s a big fan of mine,” he joked.
