“This is a fantastic honor,” Patrick said. “To be chosen to host the 25th AVN Awards is amazing. I have been in this business for eight years and it doesn't get much bigger than this.”
Patrick has previous awards show hosting experience. She hosted the 5th Annual XBIZ Awards in February and also cohosted the XRCO Awards along with husband Evan Seinfeld.
“I’m so proud of Tera,” Seinfeld said. “She has worked very hard both on and off camera during her career. I know how excited she is. As her husband I am glad to see her getting the recognition she deserves. I’m very proud of her.”
Patrick herself has won numerous adult entertainment awards. AVN named her Best New Starlet in 2001 and at the recent Venus Berlin Expo she was named Businesswoman of the Year and her interactive DVD, “InTERActive,” won for Best Interactive DVD.
Two days before the AVN Awards on Jan. 10, Patrick hosts the 3rd Annual Diva Las Vegas party at Tao in the Venetian. The party will feature a fashion show with Patrick’s Mistress Couture lingerie taking center stage.
