Early arrivals included LaTia Lopez, Pamela Peaks, Cat Cleavage and adult press photographers. Peaks was dressed like a real estate saleswoman in a wide-open blue blazer with a parody firm name on the breast pocket and a button reading "Make me an offer" on the lapel.
When the black carpet entry opened, Maya Rain, Shy Love, Ryder Skye and Lisa Daniels posed for pictures as adult publicist Monstar waited for his clients to arrive.
Veteran performer Nikita Denise, returning to the industry after a hiatus, was followed by a reality-camera crew. New performer Adrenalynn appeared in clown makeup, a short skirt with suspenders, black hand-shaped pasties and red-white-and-blue clown shoes.
Accompanied by his wife Devon Lee, Marcus London made his arrival as a loincloth-wearing gladiator, prompting this exchange with photographers.
"Did you get lost on your way to West Hollywood?" a photographer quipped.
"He's leading the parade," another answered.
"Right behind you, mate," London said.
London told XBIZ that he was happy with the reception for "Operation Desert Stormy" and that a sequel was being written.
Performers Tyla Wynn came as a half-dressed Snow White, Courtney Cummz dressed as a blue-clad harem girl, Brooke Haven was in a bright red dress and bright red wig, and Shyla Stylez was Cupid in a red bustier.
Inside, the dance floor was hopping under an effigy hanging from the ceiling right near the disco ball. Costumes included a Justin Timberlake look-alike with a large box protruding from his fly, Dracula in white tie, Woody from the "Toy Story" films, Pennywise the clown, Holly Golightly, Jack from Jack in the Box, Shrek and many cheerleaders and Playboy bunnies.
Upstairs in the VIP lounge, Pamela Peaks and Cat Cleavage commandeered a couch and started interviewing party guests for their public-access TV show. Director Jennifer James, performer Ryder Skye, KSEX personality Powder, Nick Manning, Michelle McLaren and new talent Cherish Ley and Angelica Black were all observed in the adult-industry area, which overlooked the dance floor. From time to time a flurry of camera flashes and video-camera lights would indicate somebody was flashing the photographers.
After midnight, a new infusion of guests gave the party its second wind, with All Media Play's Jeff Mullen and Scott David (dressed as an '80s rocker), De'Bella, retired talent Flick Shagwell, veteran performer Tom Byron, performers Whitney and Britney Stevens (Whitney busting out of an Elvis-style white jumpsuit), performer Savannah Jane in red heart-shaped pasties and a feathered negligee, and Chasey Lain. In the middle of one conversation, a model flipped up her shirt and challenged people to find the scar where her breast implants had been installed.
Back in one corner of the VIP lounge, Phylissha Anne, dressed in a bright red strapless top, Trisha Ray, dressed as Raggedy Ann ("This yarn wig is hot"), and street-dressed Alani Punani caressed and kissed each other while professional and amateur cameras recorded the moment.
The party kept going strong — people would decide to leave, say goodbye, and then still be there 20 minutes later — until 2 a.m. when the lights came on and club bouncers herded the partygoers onto the pink-starred Hollywood sidewalk.
