The line will feature voluptuous performers. "I want to put them on a pedestal," Anarchy Films General Manager Oren Ovadia said.
"People were telling me, 'We have a lot of black-on-black titles, but everybody's shooting oversized girls. It's not a real picture of the black population,'" Ovadia told XBIZ. "We like the girls with the big booties, but not the big booties with 200 pounds on them.
"I'm not into shock value. I don't want to sell an extra 100 titles and then spend two years in federal court. I just want to make nice porn that black women and black guys can enjoy together, and people are going crazy over that."
Upcoming titles include "Dirty Sexy Chocolates," streeting on Dec. 5, and "Breaking Da Scale" on Dec. 12.
The first Black Orchid titles will be released under the Anarchy Films label. "Dirty Sexy Chocolates 2," set for January release, will be the first to have a Black Orchid label, to be followed by "Nothing Better than Chocolate," an all-girl release.
