Red Light District Readies ‘Amy Fisher’ Rollout

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — It’ll be several weeks before Red Light District adds “Amy Fisher: Caught on Tape” to its affiliate program, Red Light Revenue’s Laurel Hertz told XBIZ.

Red Light District, which announced Tuesday it is adding the tape to its web and DVD lineup, is placing a big bet that Amy Fisher still intrigues Americans and beyond.

The wager is a big one because the sex tape features her husband — not Joey Buttafuoco.

But the company has a successful track record when it comes to sex tapes. Red Light District is the same studio that released “One Night in Paris” and “One Night in Chyna.”

The 60-minute DVD shows Fisher and her husband having sex in various rooms throughout their home. The two-disc collection will be available in both domestic and international adult video stores and also includes five bonus scenes from other Red Light District films.

Red Light District's Jon Burg told XBIZ the tape will retail for $59.95.

Amy Fisher, dubbed the "Long Island Lolita” by the press, was convicted of the 1992 shooting of Mary Jo Buttafuoco, who was the wife of her lover, with whom she began an affair as a 16-year-old student. Fisher served seven years in prison for aggravated assault, and was released in 1999.

According to reports, 33-year-old Fisher forgave her husband, Lou Bellera, for selling the sex tape to Red Light District Video a few months ago, after she briefly left him for Joey Buttafuoco.

Bellera later is reported that he sold the tape out of "the heat of anger and passion."

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The tape will be available on ClubRedLight.com and AmyFisherCaughtOnTape.com.
