Vivid's 'Debbie' Wins Venus Best U.S. Film Award

BERLIN — "Debbie Does Dallas … Again" from Vivid Entertainment, the best-selling remake of the classic adult film, won the EroticLine Award for the Best U.S. Film at the 11th Venus Berlin trade fair.

Other U.S. films nominated for the award were "Janine Loves Jenna" from Vivid/ClubJenna and "Mobster's Ball" from Wicked Pictures.

Vivid Girls Monique Alexander and Savanna Samson were on hand for the award ceremony in the German capital. Alexander has a starring role in the Paul Thomas-directed film, which also features a performance by Samson.

"Debbie Does Dallas … Again" was released in April and was the first adult film ever to be produced in both HD DVD and Blu-ray high-definition formats, the company said. The making of the film also was the subject of a seven-part reality TV serious that aired on the Showtime cable network.
