Pure Play Media GmbH opened in August 2006 and quickly established itself as an industry leader by utilizing all platforms of distribution, including DVD, online, mobile and video-on-demand to sell and promote its various studio partners, which consist of Homegrown Video, Naughty America, Seymore Butts, Swank, Asia Bootleg and Cousin Stevie.

Pure Play Media-distributed Homegrown Video and Swank were also honored as part of the ceremonies. Homegrown was recognized as the Best Amateur Label and Swank Digital as Best U.S. Newcomer Label.
Homegrown CEO Moffit T. was on hand and took the stage to accept for Homegrown.
“One of the advantages of getting on board with Pure Play was knowing we would be represented heavily in Europe," Moffit T. said. "European consumers have really embraced the Homegrown brand and concept and it’s an incredible accomplishment to see our product acknowledged as the Best Amateur Label in its first true year in the market.”
Naughty America girls Puma Swede and Ava Devine met fans and signed autographs at the Pure Play Media booth, making it one of the most attended sites at the festival, the company said.
“Everyone from the fans to the media enjoyed meeting Puma and Ava. They brought a great energy to our booth,” Arnold said.
Earlier in the day, Sign Magazine, a leading B2B adult trade magazine, also bestowed honors upon Pure Play naming Tobias Bauer as Best Erotic Industry Manager and Naughty America as the Best Newcomer Label 2007.
“Venus Fair 2007 was a huge success for Pure Play Media. Winning the awards was fantastic, but we also got to do some solid business with our existing customers, made some new customers and had a lot of productive meetings. I am very pleased with our first year in Europe and I look forward to growing our business and having continued successes,” Arnold said.
