Harmony's Gazzman Wins Barcelona Festival Award

BARCELONA — Acclaimed for his skill and talent on both sides of the Atlantic, U.K.-based Harmony Films head of production and director Gazzman helmed two titles garnered with Ninfa Awards at the 2007 Barcelona International Erotic Film Festival.

Gazzman directed "Backstage," winner of the Barcelona International Film Festival's Best 100 Percent Sex Movie award, and "Young Harlots: The Governess," the show's pick for Best Cover.

"Backstage" and "Young Harlots: The Governess" were produced by Harmony Films, represented at the festival by Gazzman and Jason Maskell, Harmony's sales and marketing manager.

"You never get jaded to the appreciation these awards represent," Gazzman said. "I've always aimed to bring the best cast with the best production values in the feature-style all-sex movies I direct for Harmony. Every win is something special and I'm always grateful for the recognition."

The awards add to the Scottish director's growing collection of worldwide accolades including the U.K. Adult Film Festival's Best U.K. Director award in 2005, several Adam Film World awards as well as past International Barcelona International Film Festival Ninfa trophies.

The 2007 Barcelona International Film Festival was held from Oct. 3-7.
