The 12-product collection consists of nipple clamps, ankle and wrist restraints, strap whips, cock rings, ball gag, blindfold and a T-style divider. The line also comes with a specially designed point-of-purchase wall display meant to encourage multiple purchases.
Spartacus Sales and Marketing Coordinator Alice Beckett told XBIZ that the company included a variety of products in the Crave line so that its wall display would be most effective for retailers.
"That way, a store that carries only Crave for its BDSM category has a well-rounded selection," Beckett said. "Numbers are part of it, too — vibrating cock rings and collars with nipple clamps do huge volumes in black, so we made them in violet because we knew they would sell."
The purple Crave line joins Spartacus' existing red, black and pink lines of fetish gear, and Spartacus Sales and Marketing Manager Sean Christensen said that the company's purple leather may surpass red and pink in popularity.
Adding another colorful collection to the company's roster, Beckett said, makes the BDSM gear that much more appealing to people who are new to fetish play.
"Fun colors can be more appealing than basic black," she said.
