Tera Patrick, Effex Media Partner to Launch Online Store

HIGHSTOWN, N.J. — Effex Media has launched the official ClubTera.com online store, a destination for adult star Tera Patrick's full Teravision DVD and adult toy lines.

John Mauser, Effex vice president of sales and marketing, told XBIZ that he, Patrick and Teravision President Evan Seinfeld discussed developing the Tera Club store a year ago as a one-stop shop for all things Tera Patrick.

"Every big-name star should have their own store where their fan base can follow them and feel comfortable finding their products quickly and easily," Mauser said. "[Teravision] feels we can take them to another level in distribution overall."

Mauser said the store currently was made using Effex's basic online store template, and a new design will come out in beta in a few weeks.

Seinfeld said that though Teravision actively works to support its brick-and-mortar store partners, online sales continue to grow at a fast rate. Because of that, he knew that creating an online store unique to Patrick would be an important move.

"We wanted to make sure that Tera's fans will have the best selection, prices, customer service and overall experience while at her official store," Seinfeld said.
