“X2,” which Blake touts as a “high energy vision of erotica for the 21st century” now is available from Studio A Entertainment.
“‘X2’ isn’t just a sequel or an extension of the first film, but it has that same high energy and appeal that only comes together when you have some one like Elena Rivera, Faith Leon and the other girls giving their all and letting their sexuality take over,” Blake said. “The film creates a whole new abstract cinema experience for the viewers by mixing erotica with a sensual backdrop of contemporary ambient music.”
Shot on film, using Blake’s signature Bolex camera, “X2” also stars Bianca Sweet, Melissa, Jennifer Dark, Chiane, Ashley Paige, Natasha Nice, Anne Marie, Gwendoline, Veronica and Kristina. Pinup models Aria Giovanni and Jelena Jensen, stars of the original “X,” make a return appearance.
“X2” finds Blake experimenting with what he calls ambient video. The movie features different vignettes and the anchoring scene, "Contempt," plays for 33 minutes. Blake explained that ambient video is his approach to a scene in which the model moves fluidly from one pose to the next.
