“Mr. Johnson is the coolest guy I know and everything he does seems to be the right move,” said Smash Vice President Stuart Wall. “Under Pimp Arrest” contains, according to Johnson, a combination of feature and gonzo styles.
“One minute it’s one thing, and the next minute it’s something different,” Johnson told XBiz. “It’s pimp magic.”
Johnson, who moved to Los Angeles when he was three, said he learned his trade from his father, a pimp in Watts, Carson, and Torrance, Calif. Johnson became a pimp himself and crossed over to adult videos “to elevate my game.”
Johnson describes himself as an international pimp. He travels to Memphis, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Hawaii. “If the Grammy Awards are in Los Angeles but New York is crackin’,” he said, “I’m going to New York – because that’s where the money is.”
Johnson describes a woman who “works the blade”– works as a prostitute on the street – as intuitively better in adult films than a standard porn actress. “A girl who works the blade, does the Ho Stroll, knows her business,” he said.
“Growing up, I knew pimps, players, hustlers, and dope dealers,” he said. “The movie business is easy.”
“Under Pimp Arrest” is one of many prostitution-themed titles area companies are releasing, including Black Widow Media’s “Jose’ Pusher’s Pimping Adventures.”
“I’m a ghetto prince,” Johnson told XBiz. “I’m doing what I have to do to keep it real.”
