Sunny Lane Signs as Déjà Vu's 1st Contract Dancer

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adult performer Sunny Lane has been signed by gentleman’s club chain Déjà Vu as their first-ever contract feature dancer. Lane will tour Déjà Vu clubs worldwide as a headlining feature dancer and appear for fans at Déjà Vu Boutiques in the U.S.

“It’s a really, really big deal,” All Media Play’s Jeff Mullen told XBIZ. "Anytime a female talent can sign with a top-notch company like this as a contract girl, it’s good news for everybody."

“It’s another example of how a porn star can take herself to new levels of excitement and Déjà Vu being the premier chain of gentlemen’s clubs it’s a huge opportunity for Sunny to have her name out there,” Mullen said.

Lane will represent the club in print advertising, live appearances at various events and store signings, as well as onstage. Lane will dance exclusively for the Déjà Vu chain and also will participate in competitions and at various adult award shows.

“Déjà Vu has so many different outlets and so many different clubs under other names, plus the boutiques that they have, so they wanted someone who could be the face of the company who could make appearances for the company at all their different stores,” Mullen said.

Formerly a competitive ice skater, Lane got her start in the adult industry as a dancer at the Déjà Vu club in Tampa, Fla. After her first year as a dancer, Lane was awarded the honor of Déjà Vu Showgirl of the Year.

“I’m very excited to be their first exclusive contract feature star, bringing the entertainment of what I do combined with the world of fun adult. I’m gonna ‘wow’ the crowd and the audience can come and get their wild on,” Lane told XBIZ. “We’ll have fun and I’ll give them something to remember from Sunny Lane and Déjà Vu.”

Déjà Vu owner Harry Mahoney and Lane sealed the deal during the annual Gentlemen’s Club Expo held in Las Vegas in August.

“We’re delighted to have Sunny Lane represent Deja Vu. She started as a local girl dancing in our Tampa club and she’s moved on to become a very popular porn star and now she’s back with Deja Vu as our exclusive contract dancer,” a Déjà vu spokesperson said. “She’s the perfect girl for us and fans love her so we’re happy to have her name tied with ours.”
