L.A. Erotica Film Fest Announces Star-Studded Lineup

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest has unveiled a star-studded lineup of adult performers and directors to appear in showcases and panels taking place during the festival Saturday through Sunday at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, Calif.

Moderators Eli Cross, Kylie Ireland, Roy Karch, Eon McKai and Stormy Daniels are scheduled to lead entertaining and educational discussions meant to blend the boundaries of erotica and porn, with input by Ron Jeremy, Joanna Angel, Sunny Lane and a slew of other adult stars.

The fest's panel discussions will begin with "Erotica Today," Saturday at 12:30 p.m., with adult director Eli Cross hosting a panel featuring Andrew Blake, Joanna Angel, Van Styles, John Stagliano and Dana Vespoli, who will discuss what erotica means to them.

At 4 p.m. the same day, adult performer/director Kylie Ireland will host "Femmeworks," a panel discussion exploring the differences between female- and male-directed films and the challenges women face in a seemingly male-dominated industry. The panel also will showcase a series of erotic films produced and directed exclusively by women.

"Femmeworks" panelists will include Theresa Flynt, Karen Stagliano, Vanessa Blue, Nicki Hunter, Holly Randall, Belladonna and Ginger Lynn.

On Sunday at 1 p.m., the fest will feature the "Classics Showcase and Panel," hosted by adult director Roy Karch with Marilyn Chambers, Seka, Ron Jeremy, Henry Pachard and Christy Canyon. The group will celebrate the 35th anniversary of adult film on the big screen by taking attendees down memory lane with classic adult films that helped spark the sexual revolution of the 1960s.

At 3 p.m., Vivid-Alt director Eon McKai will host "Alt Porn, Demystified" with Dana DeArmond, Violet Blue, Vena Virago and adult photographer Winkytiki, aka Octavio Arizala. The panel will shed light on the alt-porn movement and discuss where it started and why it's here to stay.

The panels will culminate at 3:30 p.m. with "Vixens," hosted by Stormy Daniels with adult stars Ava Rose, Bree Olson and Sunny Lane. The ladies will help dissolve myths and misconceptions that the mainstream world has about adult industry performers and will hold a candid Q-and-A discussion afterwards.

"What an outstanding roster we have,” LAEFF Publicist Dusty Marie said. ”I can’t recall another event with so many of the adult industries’ biggest names involved in one amazing event. LAEFF has created the ideal environment to welcome all things erotic from both the mainstream and adult worlds. Plus we’ve put together a series of panels covering the gamut of erotica — from the Golden era of porn to today’s biggest names."
