The DVD will be released on special red-colored, factory-issued discs in an effort to prevent piracy, as will all future OGV titles.
“All of our replication will be done on red discs,” the company said. “The discs are encoded to protect against piracy but this will be a visual protection to both the retailer and the consumer. They will know they are getting only factory-approved product.”
The title marks also the return of Shane, who first gained popularity in her work with Seymore Butts and also with her namesake series, “Shane’s World.”
“The response has been tremendous,” OGV’s Bob East told XBIZ. “People were looking for Shane and really glad to see that she is coming out with something new. ‘Vol. 2’ has already been shot and we’re planning to start shooting again at the end of the year.”
“Shane and Friends Vol. 1” features Audrey Bitoni, Holly Wellin, Kylee King, Cassie Young, Carmella Bing, Billy Glide, Nick Manning and Shane in a non-sex role.
It is Shane’s first directorial work since a three-year absence from the industry.
