FSC Accepting Donations in Memory of Lenny Friedlander

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Free Speech Coalition Executive Director Diane Duke has announced that the organization is accepting monetary donations in memoriam of the late Lenny Friedlander.

Friedlander passed away at his home in New Orleans Aug. 4. He is survived by his wife, son and two daughters.

The larger-than-life industry veteran began his adult career in 1978 in collections at Marlan Distributors, eventually moving into sales. He founded New Beginnings and served as FSC president for six years.

A passionate advocate of free speech, New Beginnings has requested that funds be donated to the FSC, which will be put in the Lenny Friedlander Memorial Fund. A note to his family as well as a note of receipt to the individual or company making the donation will acknowledge contributions to the fund.

A funeral service for Friedlander took place Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetary in New Orleans. Plans for a memorial service in California were incomplete as of press time.
