"The manufacturers wanted their own sales rep, and I decided that I wanted to take on a new challenge," Levine told XBIZ. "I owe [Vivid Co-chairman] Steven Hirsch an undying debt of gratitude. He's been a mentor and a friend to me. I'm coming in on the ground floor with Club Jenna."
“Howard is a perfect fit for Club Jenna," Club Jenna President Jay Grdina told XBIZ. "He and Vivid have done a tremendous job over the years for us and we look forward to many more to come."
Levine represented Vivid for 17 years, "longer than any other salesperson in this industry before me, even [longtime VCA salesman] Marty Turkel. I beat that record." Levine said.
Levine's new duties will include encouraging video stores to start their own Club Jenna sections. "It is an absolute moneymaker for them. We're doing authorized dealer stickers for the stores and other promo stuff for the stores. Jenna's back out there, she's done some personal appearances. We're running contests, we're doing all kinds of stuff.
"Howard will now be our exclusive salesperson for all of our Club Jenna products," Grdina said. "Now we have a chance to have him focus more time on our product and its sales.”
"Stores that want to carry Club Jenna DVDs should call me," Levine said. "I'll get them a distributor, and we'll make sure the product gets into their stores."
