Vivid's 'Porn Star Makeover' Reality Show Debuts

LOS ANGELES — The second Vivid Voyeur TV program "Porn Star Makeover: Vivid Style," will begin airing on pay-per-view Thursday on DirecTV.

The show traces a day in the lives of two unsuspecting female shoppers in Los Angeles who are invited to take part in a hair and makeup makeover session that quickly turns into a sexual extravaganza, according to the company.

Vivid Girls Cassidey and Monique Alexander are the stars of the show, which also features Tiffany Brooks, Erika Jordan, Zoe Britton and Melissa Jacobs.

Vivid explains the show premise as: "Cassidey and Alexander set out by car to find women who want to experience total makeovers. The two women who agree to participate don't realize until they are in the salon that they will be asked to enjoy the experience topless.

"One thing leads to another between the girls and their stylists and before long all of the girls are taking part in some unanticipated and highly charged erotic play. As the action unfolds, the screen shows pop-up bios on each girl with her stats and sexual orientation. All are bisexual or at least bi-curious."

The 55 minute-long production will be distributed exclusively through PPV services throughout the U.S. in August, and beginning Sept. 1 it will also be available through video-on-demand services from TVN Entertainment.

The reality TV-style Vivid Voyeur TV shows are rated TV Mature Audience, which make them more accessible to a broad-based audience that is expected to include women and couples, according to the company.
