Vivid Names New National Sales Manager

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment Group has announced that sales executive David Peskin will succeed Howard Levine in the position of national sales manager for Vivid and will represent the company to the trade through Pulse Distribution.

“My goal with Vivid is to stay ahead of the curve in representing the company to the retail marketplace on every level and on every platform," Peskin said. "I will be working to maximize Vivid's industry leadership as the highest quality producer and the most advanced technological provider with innovations such as Blu-ray and HD DVD. We also are leading in the diversification of our line through Vivid-Alt, Vivid-Ed, Vivid-Celeb, Vivid Plus, Vivid-Am and the latest, the Vivid-Ha! line of comedic adult features. It is very easy to be enthusiastic about this company.”

Levine is changing positions in order to take on new responsibilities for the ClubJenna label, which is distributed by Pulse through a Vivid-ClubJenna partnership.

“David Peskin is an industry insider who has great forward-looking enthusiasm and vision,” Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch said. “He has built many strong bonds on behalf of Vivid and is respected by everyone in the industry.” Peskin started his adult industry career in 1995, joining Vivid in 2003. Prior to his work in adult, Peskin was involved in the fashion industry and at one time owned a contemporary sportswear company.
