Joanna Angel 'Submit' Trailer Posted at Erotica Film Fest Site

LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest spokesperson Joanna Angel demands that filmmakers "submit" in the festival's new trailer, which has been posted on the LAEFF homepage.

The deadline for submissions for the Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest is Aug. 15. Professional, amateur and novice erotica filmmakers worldwide are encouraged to submit their work for consideration in one of the eight program categories: Eroticore, Mini-features, Retro, Music Video, Documentary/Mockumentary and Comedy Short. There is no fee for submissions.

"It's like any deadline, people wait until the very last minute," LAEFF Managing Director Alan Hawkins said. "The submissions so far have been stunning but we know there is still more out there. Our goal has always been to showcase filmmakers in and out of the industry, but now we are in the final stretch of the submission process and we need to let everyone who is interested know: Time is almost up This your last chance to be involved in the festival until next year.'

The Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest, set for Sept. 15-16 in Hollywood, Calif., will present short and feature-length erotic films from fans around the world as well as from within the adult industry. The support of presenting sponsors Pulpo Inc., BurningAngel Entertainment, Vivid Alt, Adam & Eve Pictures, Cinekink NYC and the Silver Lake Film Festival will aid in the process and provide a forum for the filmmakers.

Tickets can be purchased online at the Los Angeles Erotica Film Fest website and KnittingFactory.com, or in-person at the Knitting Factory at 7021 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, Calif.

Festival and event sponsorships are still available. Those interested can contact Kristen Kaye at kristen@xbiz.com for details.
