Patrick worked with Digital Playground before signing with Vivid in 2003. She has hosted Playboy’s “Night Calls 411” and, along with Seinfeld, operates TeraVision, which makes adult films in cooperation with Vivid. Patrick’s recent releases include “Reign of Tera” and last year’s “Tera, Tera, Tera.”
“40 Hottest” was produced by VH1 with Blender Magazine, whose Rob Tannenbaum said, "It's no surprise that rock stars and porn stars find each other. They lead similar lives.”
Patrick commented on Seinfeld’s support of her career when she believed she would retire from the adult industry. “You’ve built the Tera Patrick brand,” Seinfeld responded. “Let’s start our own company.”
Seinfeld now performs and directs for TeraVision as Spyder Jonez. He had previously worked on HBO’s graphic prison drama “Oz.” Patrick and Seinfeld were married in January, 2004.
Other couples featured in the documentary were Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli, Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, and Marilyn Manson and Rose McGowan. “Lord of the Rings” co-star Liv Tyler was featured as a second-generation rock star girlfriend; she is the daughter of Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and model Bebe Buell.
