ASACP Officials Speak at XBIZ Summer Forum

LOS ANGELES — ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine and Chief Technology Officer Brandon Shalton will participate in the XBIZ Summer '07 Forum at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas July 11-13.

Irvine will be on hand at the legal panel, The New 2257 Regulations, Obscenity and More, to discuss and answer questions about ASACP's RTA (Restricted to Adults) website label. Shalton will be participating in a panel discussing Internet safety issues called Hijacked! How Do Real-World Security Concerns Impact Traffic Vendors, Networks, Buyers and Affiliates?

At the Farewell Executive Champagne Brunch, Irvine will show video highlights from the recent RTA press conference and will be available for discussion. The brunch is at Simon at the Hard Rock July 13 from 11 a.m. -1 p.m.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the XBIZ Summer Forum again this year," Irvine told XBIZ. "This year we'll be able to present the highlight reel from our recent RTA website label press conference. We are pleased at how the industry has rallied together behind RTA.”

Founded in 1996, ASACP, formally the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection, is a non profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet.
