Lewis Adams, vice president of sales and marketing, told XBiz the new studio decided to launch with an anal gonzo DVD because “anal is the sweet-and-sour chicken of the industry,” but assured us that Damaged Productions isn’t going to be locked in to one specific genre.
“Every store has different customers with different tastes, so we want to give the stores a little of everything,” Adams said. Anal Hazards stars Olivia O’Lovely, Cailey Taylor, Trina Silver, Ice LaFox and Diana Cummings in wall-to-wall anal sex.
Damaged Productions plans to release four to six new titles every month, featuring every imaginable niche and fetish. The one thing all of the company’s DVDs will have in common is a dedication to detail.
“The production will be top-notch, of course,” Adams told XBiz. “But we’re also putting an amazing amount of effort into the other aspects of the physical product. The DVDs will be easy to navigate, with cool interfaces and lots of extras and original music. And all the cover raps are going to be made with hologram foils, so customers know what to look for when they come into the store.”
“Believe it or not, professionalism does help in this business,” Adams added.
While the company is reinvesting revenue into its ongoing productions, the principals will handle all aspects of the business, from editing to distribution, themselves.
“I have enough experience in this business to make sure you can watch Anal Hazards in the furthest stretches of South Africa without worrying that it’s a bootleg copy,” said Adams.
