Colossal Entertainment Releases 'Twat Squad'

BURBANK, Calif. — Colossal Entertainment has released "Twat Squad" as one of it first titles of the year and part of a more aggressive production schedule the eight-month-old company says will define 2005.

Based on a gonzo-style police theme, "Twat Squad" features Roxanne Hall, Lauren Phoenix, Brittney Skye, Trina Michaels, Samantha Ryan, Kelly Klein and Shy Love, and is directed by Dan Silver who previously worked on recent Colossal release "I Cream on Genie."

"Dan Silver is one of the best directors we have in our stable," Colossal Sales Manager Artie Baer said. "He did as great a job with 'Twat Squad' as he did with 'I Cream on Genie.' Silver captured the sex excellently and the caliber of the girls that were cast ensured the performances would be of the caliber we're always shooting for in Colossal's productions."

Colossal's fast-paced production schedule for 2005 includes four titles per month, with a Wednesday release date, publicist Wayne Hentai told XBiz.

Each of the coming Colossal releases will be two hours in length and will be released only on DVD, with video-on-demand deals through multiple sources, including AEBN and Gamelink.

Hentai said that Colossal's choice to only market films in DVD is part of a growing trend among many production companies that are migrating entirely away from VHS and turning to DVD as a cheaper production format.

The next release from Colossal, Hentai said, will be titled "Crewkake" in which Colossal crew members take part in the shoot.

"Colossal is really trying to find its niche," Hentai said. "In less than a year, they've found the directors they are comfortable working with and they have concentrated on hardcore gonzo."

Colossal was founded by Baer in 2004 after he crossed over into the adult industry from mainstream development projects and a career as a car salesman.

"We're planning on doing things that will make Colossal one of the biggest names in gonzo," Baer said. "With the reception we've gotten in Vegas, the feedback we got in our face-to-face meeting with our fans and the talks we've had with our distributors, we're well on our way to that goal."

Other Colossal releases include "Bitches in Heat," "Ripe for the Pipe," "Ass Feast" and "2 Chicks and a Cock."
