All of Mercenary Europe’s content will be shot on the continent.
"Mercenary Europe will target the premium adult market and segments of the gonzo market that haven't been tapped," Mercenary owner Lexington Steele said. “The addition of Mercenary Europe to my growing enterprise continues to increase my positioning atop the all-sex market."
The first title to be released under Mercenary Europe's banner will be “Hell's Angels” in late January.
In related news, Steele said Mandy Bright had been signed to Mercenary Europe as an exclusive director, but she will continue to work as a performer for other companies. Bright will also lead the division’s production staff.
Steele said tentative plans for Bright include a hardcore girl/girl line, a girl/girl strap-on point-of-view series and high-end boy/girl titles.
Frank Gunn is slated to assist Bright in her videography and will perform in the boy/girl line as well.
Steele also named George Akwo, Mercenary Pictures vice president and head of business and legal affairs, as director of Mercenary Europe.
Steele said he plans to perform in Mercenary Europe's boy/girl productions.
