Kick Ass Pictures Shortens Web Address

LOS ANGELES — Kick Ass Pictures said Tuesday it has changed its website address to the shorter KickAss.com.

The change comes after much negotiation with the original owner of the address, Kick Ass webmaster Vic D said.

“The name change is part of the master plan to build a bigger and better website,” Vic D said. “The old address was a bit rough on the fingers. This new site is full of cool stuff so a short, slicker name was in order.”

Mark Kulkis, Kick Ass’ president, did not disclose terms of the deal that allowed it to acquire the URL but was content the adult company finally closed the deal.

“It’s a good thing they let us have it otherwise we’d have to show them what Kick Ass really stands for,” Kulkis said. “The name of the site should’ve been Kick Ass from the start.”

The site of the Los Angeles-based company has gone under renovation over the past few months. Included among the new features is a revamped starlet search that allows you to customize surfer gazing.

The old address, www.kickasspictures.com, will remain active, Vic D said.
