Modeled after reality dating show “Blind Date,” the film follows three Los Angeles couples through each of their first dates, recording their triumphs and faux pas.
Unlike the network television show, though, “Blind Sex Dates” cameras also continue into the bedroom.
The first independent project for Bishop, better known as editor, cameraman and general right hand man for Seymore Butts on Showtime’s “Family Business,” the series arose out his desire to see what happened
“A blind date holds so much intrigue and tense moments, but we usually miss out on what takes place at the next level,” said Bishop, producer of the series. “A television show ends with a polite handshake or hug, but in ‘Blind Sex Dates #2’ we follow the hottest couples right into the bedroom for some very spontaneous sex.”
The second volume in the series features Ryan and Tianna as they make a disastrous trip to a smoke shop, Erin and Donnie, who feed ducks and go salsa dancing, and Michelle and Sergio, who have a psychic read their fortunes before having a picnic.
“The people who go on these dates are real people having real sex for the first time,” Bishop said.
The film will be available in stores beginning Thursday.
