PlayParties.com, in association with Lifestyles.org and BayCouples.com, is set to present The 3rd Annual Swingers Ball on Saturday, Oct. 30, in San Jose, Calif. The Ball will be held this year in the Grand Ballroom of Silicon Valley's Crowne Plaza Hotel.
In addition to the Grand Ballroom, a number of suites will be available for guests after the party.
"Baycouples.com is a very good place to find other people who are into the swinging community," Baycouples spokesman Kevin Blatt said. "I am very happy to be a part of this new era of swinging. “Swinging is making a comeback these days — it's no longer about the hippy neighbor down the block anymore. It's your doctor, your lawyer, or real estate agent these days who are keeping their minds and bedrooms open to others."
A "dress to impress" dress code is in effect, and while costumes are not required, they are requested and desired.
For those wearing costumes, a $1,000-plus costume contest will be held with prizes for “Sexxxiest Costume,” “Best Costume” and “Skimpiest Costume.”
Door prizes, giveaways, and DJ's spinning top tunes on the huge dance floor is also on the agenda.
Tickets for the The 3rd Annual Swingers Ball are priced from $80 per couple for the Ballroom Party and complimentary Hospitality Suite “After Party.” “V.I.P Dinner” tickets are available for $20 each.
Darklady's 4th Annual “Polyween” Party gets underway in Portland, Ore., next Saturday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the same beautiful location as the recent "Queer Comes the Bride" party. The event features a potluck dinner and a no-host bar, DJs and live music by Full Brazil. A costume contest will be held and prizes awarded.
Tickets are $25 for guests in street clothes, or $20 for those wearing costumes or fetish garb. A cloakroom is on site, but there is no wheelchair access into the building.
