Under the terms of the deal with Ashe's company, Video Bliss Inc., Pure Play Media will distribute a new hardcore girl-on-girl video line called Danni's Hard Cut.
The first video in the line, slated for release on Oct. 25, is titled "By Invitation Only" and stars Jana Cova, Justine Joli, Charisma Cole, Jenaveve Joli, Jezebelle Bond and Tianna Lynn.
According to Pure Play CEO Richard Arnold, the deal features video content that was more hardcore than typical content found on Danni.com.
"I've known Danni for a while and really liked her and her operation and always wished we could do something together," Arnold told XBiz. "Danny has never done hardcore so this is a new area for her and we're glad to be a part of it. I have a hell of a lot of respect for her company and what she does.
The deal with Danni's Hard Drive includes the distribution of a maximum of 24 videos over a two-year span. The videos will be distributed nationwide in adult video and book stores as well as mainstream video stores.
Arnold added that the videos will also be available through video-on-demand from yet-unnamed websites.
Ashe, a former stripper, launched Danni's Hard Drive in 1994. She claims to have been looking for an outlet to create more hardcore content and that working with Arnold and Pure Play was an opportunity she had been waiting for.
"It is a natural evolution for Danni.com to extend its girl-only content production into the traditional hardcore home video market," Ashe said in a statement. "All of us at Danni.com are truly excited by the opportunity to produce content for a new market.”
Pure Play Media currently distributes adult content for more than ten adult entertainment production companies, including content from Suze Randall and Seymore Butts. The company maintains offices in Chatsworth, Calif. and Montreal, Quebec.
Earlier this month, Pure Play Media signed a cross-distribution deal with Private Media Group. Under the terms of the deal, Pure Play will be the exclusive North American distributor for Private, and Private will be the exclusive European distributor for Pure Play’s content.
