This is the first distribution deal for AresMen, which recently rolled out “CockTales v.1: The Intruders.” That video series, AresMen President Nick Sparks says, is featuring “raw talent,” each with a different spin on the “boy next door” look.
“We really went out on a limb to do something different and are so gratified with the great reception it’s getting,” Sparks told XBiz. “Now we’re excited about continuing a whole series of videos based on erotic fiction.”
He said the distribution agreement coincides with AresMen’s second video release of the “CockTales” series at its online store, which offers the video and adult toys and novelties.
Sparks earlier this year told XBiz that as a newcomer in the gay adult video world he’s trying to bring a new perspective beyond market leaders Falcon Studios and Titan Media, both based in San Francisco.
Terms of the distribution deal with West Hollywood, Calif.-based Pacific Creek Associates, which sells videos froom Skot Oaklen, Cazzo Films, Daddy Ohhhh! Productions and Tribal Pulse, was not disclosed.
Pacific Creek President Carolynne Mote said her company will begin distribution of “CockTales v.1: The Intruders” in both DVD and VHS formats in October.
In related news, Sparks said the month-old AresMen.comsite is already in revisions for a version 2 release, based on feedback from a user-group forum.
“We solicited user feedback to help us build a better site,” Sparks said. “We keep refining our guiding vision to appeal to a more savvy generation of adult entertainment consumers.”
