'Bella Loves Jenna' Wins VSDA Title of the Year

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Two of the adult industry's most mainstream porn starlets found reason to toast to their success this week after winning the "Adult Title of the Year" award at the Video Software Dealers Association convention.

The winning title, "Bella Loves Jenna," was produced by Club Jenna Inc. and distributed by Van Nuys, Calif.-based Vivid Entertainment Group.

The film stars Jenna Jameson and Belladonna and is being touted by representatives from Club Jenna as one of the most preordered feature films in recent adult video history. The title has managed to outsell even "Brianna Loves Jenna," another huge seller for Club Jenna.

"Bella Loves Jenna" was released in February of this year and was directed by Jenna Jameson's husband, Jay Grdina.

Both Jameson and Grdina founded Club Jenna in 2003. The company does film production work, product licensing, and functions as an Internet management firm for more than a dozen top adult stars.

Vivid said in a statement that it believes "Bella Loves Jenna" could become a porn classic.

The film is based on the theme that “life is heaven and the afterlife is hell" and is presented in what the company calls a surreal "Daliesque" style.

"The VSDA award came as a total shocker to me,” Jameson said, while attending VSDA. “We were up against some really great movies and I felt honored just being nominated. Winning this award is a milestone for Club Jenna and I can honestly say this one means a lot!"

Jameson added that the making of "Bella Loves Jenna" was a step away from the norm for Club Jenna.

"Fortunately it worked," Jameson continued. "I would like to thank all the retailers and distributors for the continued support and confidence in our product. I’d also like to thank Vivid for their excellent distribution and their help along the way, as well as the staff at Club Jenna.”
