Xes, one of the newest clubs in town at 4 months old, will play host Friday for the “Sinful Porn Star Party,” sponsored by adult production company Sex Z Pictures.
Xes — spell it backwards — is located off of Hollywood Boulevard on Cahuenga, and is known for its go-go dancers writhing on the three poles, while the champagne flows at the former salsa club.
Once past the entry’s red carpet and roped front, you’ll find on most night the club caters to an A-list clientele with cushy, large red booths.
It serves not only the porn industry — the recent X-Con pre-party was there — but mainstream as well. Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, Jack Osbourne, Jared Leto, Alicia Keys, Matthew Perry, Christina Aguilera, Heath Ledger and Vince Vaughn have made the scene. So has Britney Spears — three times.
"We wanted to create the vibe of a strip club without the nudity, a place where women would feel comfortable, too," said co-owner Mark Moss, who owns the club with Matt Stone and brother Omar. "Sometimes they feel so comfortable, they get up on the tables and dance. We want everyone to have a good time."
Xes is located at 1716 N. Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood, Calif.
