On Wednesday, she turns 24. And on Thursday, she will receive the “Vixen of the Year” award at the 13th annual Fans of X-Rated Entertainment, or FOXE, awards show.
The Kick Ass Pictures actress, whose campaign for governor last year catapulted her to prominence, told XBiz she is thrilled to win the award.
“This award means so much to me since it is voted by the fans, so thank you guys,” Carey said.
For her birthday the voluptuous adult video star is throwing a birthday party at the nightclub Ice at 3575 W. Cahuenga Pass in Universal City on Wednesday (the adult industry is invited).
Carey, who has recently been doing a promotional tour in Canada, is featured this month in Club Confidential and will grace the cover of High Society’s July issue.
Thursday’s FOXE awards was founded by Bill Margold. Nearly 1,600 fans vote for favorite performers through write-in ballots each year.
The event includes nude dancing and the “Broasting” of porn star Seka. Samantha Slater, Alicia Rio, Pandora Dream, Tina Toy, Amber Peach, Sasha Brabuster and Lady Victoria Spencer also perform.
The FOXE awards will be held Thursday at the Mayflower Ballroom, 234 Hindry Ave., in Inglewood. Tickets are priced at $50, or three for $125. Proceeds for the event go to the San Fernando Valley-based Protecting Adult Welfare Foundation.
