LOS ANGELES — "Reina Reborn" director Karim Z is featured in an interview with EMMReport.
In the interview, Karim discusses his new music-driven adult feature, "Reina Reborn," which features 11 hardcore scenes and 14 original songs he created with Lucas Hickory. The film follows Karim as he learns how to direct in real time, from assembling the cast and navigating multiple edits in post-production to confronting the enormous gap between the film's cost and its commercial return.
"I wanted to make the greatest adult film," says Karim, "and since it didn't seem like anything else was working, I thought, 'Why don't we try something else?'"
