LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support is hosting a free online support group for performers with trauma-impacted intimacy issues.
The six-week “Reclaiming Intimacy: Sex After Trauma” group will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Nicki Line and will begin on Sunday, Oct. 4, at 3 p.m. PDT. Sessions will take place weekly at the same time through Nov. 8.
“Trauma can profoundly change our relationship with our bodies, our sexuality, and our capacity for intimate connection, but healing is possible,” said Line. “Whether someone is navigating the aftermath of sexual trauma, relationship abuse, medical trauma, or other experiences that have affected their sexual wellbeing, this group offers a safe, understanding space to explore that healing at their own pace and begin reclaiming a healthy relationship with intimacy.”
Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit added, “For people in our industry, intimacy can be both part of our work and something deeply personal, and when trauma enters the picture, that relationship can feel complicated or out of reach. This group is about creating a space free from judgment and stigma, where people can be heard, feel less alone, and take meaningful steps toward healing alongside others who understand.”
