HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Adam & Eve parent company PHE, Inc. has been named "Business of the Year" by the Hillsborough-Orange County Chamber of Commerce.
This marks the third time the company has received the honor.
"PHE, Inc. is a community-minded partner," said Hillsborough-Orange County Chamber of Commerce CEO Scott Czechlewski. "PHE gives generously to local nonprofits such as Habitat for Humanity, PORCH, Duke Hospice, and others. Their financial support and volunteering strengthen our community and improve quality of life for residents. By providing the funding needed to start an Entrepreneurship Center in Hillsborough, PHE is the leading force in the Chamber’s efforts to support start-up businesses. Their commitment to helping nonprofits and creating opportunities for future economic growth has made PHE a standout business in our community for many years, and deserving of the 2026 Business of the Year award."
PHE, Inc. President/CEO Lewis Broadnax enthused about the award.
"We are honored to receive this recognition from the Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber of Commerce," he said. "Having received this award in 2005 and again in 2019, it is especially meaningful to be recognized once more by the community we proudly call home.
"At PHE, we believe strong businesses help build strong communities, and we are proud to create meaningful careers, support local organizations, and invest our time and resources in making Orange County an even better place to live and work," added Broadnax. "This award reflects the dedication of our team and our commitment to helping Orange County remain a great place to build a business, raise a family, and create opportunity."
