International BDSM Platform 'YessMistress' Launches

AMSTERDAM — Netherlands-based YessMistress has launched its international BDSM platform designed to connect dominants and submissives.

According to a rep, the company's focus is on addressing the mistrust that exists within online BDSM communities, where fake profiles, impersonation, and scam attempts have made many users cautious about who they interact with — particularly when money, personal information, or intimate forms of communication are involved.

YessMistress will verify all dominants before they're allowed to operate on the site, ensuring that active profiles belong to real, verified individuals rather than anonymous or impersonated accounts. AI-generated profile images and avatars are not permitted.

"We saw that trust was one of the biggest problems people faced when interacting in online BDSM communities," said a company rep. "Users should not have to constantly question whether the person behind a dominant profile is genuine. That is why trust, accountability, and active moderation have been central to YessMistress from the beginning."

"We set out to build a dedicated BDSM community, not simply another adult website," the rep added. "We want to build a BDSM community where users can interact with more confidence, supported by clear standards, active moderation and a strong focus on trust."
