In the interview, Amira discusses her career before performing, how she studied the performers she admired and chose the representation she wanted before her debut, and how she views awards as recognition rather than a definition of success.
“What’s beautiful about this career is that it can be your whole life,” Amira said. “Once you do that new thing, then you’re out of new stuff to do. So just take your time; the clock is twenty-four, seven, and the shop is always open.”
