LOS ANGELES — Rachel Steele is the latest guest on “The Dissenter” podcast, hosted by Ricardo Lopes.
During the episode, Steele discusses her unconventional career, shares insights into the evolution of adult entertainment, and laments the realities of an industry often discussed without listening to the people who work in it.
“One of the reasons I appreciate conversations like this is that they allow people to see the person behind the work,” Steele said. “Sex workers have businesses, families, creative ambitions and the same concerns about paying bills and planning for the future as anyone else. You don’t have to understand every choice someone makes to recognize their humanity, and I think hearing directly from us is one of the best ways to get past assumptions.”
