Vixen Celebrates a Decade of Decadence With a View From the Top

LOS ANGELES — The adult community took multiple shuttles through the winding roads and driveways of Benedict Canyon on Friday night to celebrate Vixen Media Group’s 10th anniversary.

When guests finally arrived at the famous Sheats-Goldstein Residence, they were greeted by a jaw-dropping view of Los Angeles in all its twinkling, picturesque glory.

Owned by 86-year-old real estate investor James Goldstein — a celebrity in his own right, who drew a crowd everywhere he went while wearing a stylish white cowboy hat and matching boots — the Sheats-Goldstein Residence was designed in 1963 by famed architect John Lautner, who apprenticed under Frank Lloyd Wright.

It’s a stunning estate that has appeared in movies such as “The Big Lebowski” and “Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle,” and the opulent party was split between its poolside terrace and a nightclub-like space known as “Club James.”

After walking past the driveway, where a red Ferrari stuffed with roses sat parked in front of a bustling red carpet, a few hundred guests descended downstairs to Club James.

Many paid their respects to Mike Moz, VMG’s head of casting, who sat by the bar greeting everyone with hugs and handshakes of gratitude, including members of VMG’s team, many of whom flew in from across the globe for the “family reunion” of sorts.

After making their way through the foggy red glow and LED screens of Club James, guests then trickled outside onto the terrace, where a full moon hung overhead, its reflection glowing in the Vixen-branded lap pool.

It was the perfect night and the perfect space to celebrate VMG’s famed brands: Vixen, Blacked, BlackedRaw, Deeper, MILFY, Slayed, Tushy, TushyRaw, and WIFEY.

With such a stunning backdrop, the crowd came selfie-ready and dressed to impress. The guest list certainly didn’t disappoint — in attendance were WIFEY ambassador Serenity Cox; MILFY ambassadors Phoenix Marie and Brandi Love; Blacked star Jason Luv; Chloe Amour and Jennifer White, who posed for photos together; Leana Lovings and Ava Amira, who recently released their respective Vixen debuts with Alex Jones and Parker Ambrose; Octavia Red, who recently did a Vixen scene with Kenna James and Dan Damage; Spiegler Girls Emma Rosie and Coco Lovelock; Lady LorReign and her husband Anthony, who have appeared on WIFEY; A-list performers Sarah Arabic and Charlotte Sins; Vixen COO Sam Rakowski; and Vixen regular Hope Heaven, who flew in from Europe for the occasion.

Meanwhile, a dozen Vixen Angels also attended the celebration while wearing Vixen apparel, including Vanna Bardot, Vicki Chase, Avery Cristy, Gianna Dior, Alina Lopez, Amia Miley, Violet Myers, Jessi Rae, Natalia Starr, Jada Stevens, Kendra Sunderland, and Gina Valentina.

Non-industry celebrity guests included pro fighter Conor McGregor, rapper Tyga, and basketball player LiAngelo Ball.

Kayden Kross also attended the impressive bash, having launched Deeper with VMG in 2019, though she said that her relationship with Moz dates back a decade earlier.

“He was the person who brought me into the VMG fold, and once I got to know him and co-founder Steve M, I started directing for some of their brands, and then we launched Deeper.”

Kross had high praise for the team at Vixen, who have been working together for a long time.

“They really value quality and creativity above everything else, and they let me go and do my thing,” said Kross, who pointed to highlights such as Vixen’s “After Dark,” Tushy’s “Abigail,” MILFY’s “American MILF,” and multiple features for Deeper, which is currently in the midst of releasing her new feature “Equilibrium.”

“Personally, it’s my favorite thing I've ever made,” boasted Kross.

Rae, Vixen’s first-ever brand ambassador, also gushed about working with the company.

“I love that Vixen always caters to its girls,” said Rae. “They take each girl’s personality and put it into their movies, and they try to tailor those movies to each person, so it feels really special. I know that when I’m working with Vixen, I feel like every single one of my shoots is special in its own way,” said Rae, who is excited for a handful of upcoming scenes from VMG.

Guests noshed on classic hors d’oeuvres and caviar, delicious thin-crust pizza served fresh, a special selection of Vixen10 cocktails, and fancy, hand-rolled ice cream that served as a welcome respite from the steamy temperature, which never let up all night long.

Looking ahead, Vixen has no plans of letting up, either. In fact, Kross sees the company continuing to spread its wings as it adapts and evolves to meet customer demand.

“I think Vixen is becoming more of a lifestyle brand, as it’s so much more than just adult content, and you can see that here tonight,” said Kross. “Plus, Deeper has a gallery show coming up in October showcasing our photography, along with a new book. So I think Vixen is becoming bigger than just an adult company — it’s becoming a presence.”

Added Rae, “This is a company that’s going to break through the glass ceiling and continue to hit milestones like the one they hit tonight. Here’s to many more to come!”

Indeed, the future is bright for Vixen Media Group. But before Moz and Co. start plotting the next 10 years, they’ll simply enjoy the view from the top of the biz — and the top of L.A., for one night, anyway.

Outside a warehouse on a scorching, treeless frontage road in Compton, there is little to suggest that a movie is being made behind its nondescript walls. Similar buildings across the Southwest frequently house adult productions, their unassuming exteriors concealing carefully lit sets where crews labor over every visual detail.
