LOS ANGELES — Banksie will return to host the rainbow carpet and be a Gold Sponsor of the “Queer Prom” event to be held Sept. 25 in Hollywood, organized by Flaming Hearts Media (FHM) and Grooby.
“We are excited to announce a return to this year’s Queer Prom,” said Banksie. “Re-living the prom’s festivities for the community to show up as who they are, in their own way, is special. We cannot wait to share the coverage with everyone.”
FHM co-founder Kristel Penn enthused about Banksie.
“Banksie has a magic about her that really makes anyone she’s interviewing feel right at home,” said Penn. “For such a tender moment, like Queer Prom, she’s definitely the person we want to honor our Rainbow Carpet interview tradition.”
Tickets are available for $45 and include one drink ticket, with proceeds from the event donated to charity.
