SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon/NakedSword and apparel brand Skull & Bones have partnered for the new release, “Eat the Rich.”
Directed by Ben Rush, the title stars Jayden Marcos, Paul Wagner, Miles Fallon, Ryan Orion, Luca Zae, River North, Johnny Donovan, and reigning and three-time XMAs Gay Performer of the Year Derek Kage.
“‘Eat the Rich’ is about what happens when public image and private reality are two totally different things,” said Rush. “The idea at the center of the film is that money and power can be redirected. The people working against our community can, without intending to, end up helping fund it. That made this collaboration with Skull & Bones a natural extension of the story.”
Added Falcon/NakedSword CEO Tim Valenti, “I’ve always believed that adult entertainment can be both provocative and culturally relevant at the same time. ‘Eat the Rich’ takes that philosophy even further by telling a story that reflects the political and social firestorms we’re living through right now. Partnering with Skull & Bones gives us an opportunity to take the concept of the film into the real world.”
The release coincides with the debut of a limited edition Skull & Bones collection of three backless underwear styles: one Falcon edition and two NakedSword editions. All three pairs feature designs by Falcon/NakedSword Art Director Frank Fanucchi. Additionally, according to a rep, a portion of the proceeds will benefit organizations that support LGBTQ+ communities, and every Falcon or NakedSword underwear purchase will come with a free month of NakedSword.com.
Skull & Bones Founders and co-owners Vincent Pilato and Rob Matysiewski enthused about the partnership.
“Skull & Bones has always believed what you wear underneath should stand for something,” they said. “One of the many things we love about partnering with Falcon/NakedSword is that they walk the walk. These three styles are unapologetic — and so is the intent behind them: A portion of every sale supports LGBTQ+ organizations.”
