MONTREAL — Pure Taboo has released its new post-apocalyptic drama written and directed by multi-XMAs winner Seth Gamble, titled “The Doctrine.”
The title features Ava Amira, Octavia Red, Remy Lacroix, Lexi Luna, Rissa May, Lilly Bell, Small Hands, Nade Nasty, Grimy, Codey Steele, Tommy Gunn, and Jason Sarcinelli.
“Set three years after the collapse of civilization, ‘The Doctrine’ follows four brothers who operate the last secure compound for miles,” the synopsis reveals. “When a group of women arrives seeking refuge, they are offered safety, stability, and hope — but only if they accept the role the brothers believe they were destined to fulfill.”
A studio rep enthused about the release.
“Directed with Gamble's signature emphasis on character and psychological depth, the film blends post-apocalyptic world-building with emotionally driven performances, creating one of Pure Taboo's most ambitious and thought-provoking productions to date,” said the rep. “‘The Doctrine’ combines cinematic production values, layered characters, and high-stakes drama in a film that explores not only the end of the world, but the choices that define humanity when everything else has been stripped away.”
"The Doctrine" is streaming on PureTaboo.
