LONDON — Princess Jezebel recently marched alongside an estimated 150,000 people at London Trans+ Pride 2026, joining a joyous but unmistakably political protest for trans rights under the theme "Our Future, Our Fight."
Chants of "Trans rights are human rights" and "Stand up, fight back" carried through the Trans+ Pride march, which strictly prohibits corporate sponsorship — a distinction Jezebel believes protects it from the pinkwashing she sees at the main London Pride parade.
"Trans Pride is joyous, but it is a protest, not a party — we are fighting for our rights," said Jezebel. "There was a definite atmosphere of activism, but also the euphoria of being surrounded by tens of thousands of trans people who understood why we were there. It showed exactly why so many of us favor this grassroots movement over the main London Pride parade."
