LOS ANGELES — Rachel Steele is featured in a new article from Italy's PRN Magazine.
The interview traces Steele's unlikely path from working in a Tampa hair salon to shooting her own content, opening a Clips4Sale store in 2007, launching her own production company, Red MILF Productions, and positioning herself as an early force in stepmom content before the category became a studio mainstay.
"Those roles weren’t forced — they were authentic to me," Steele tells the magazine. "What made me successful is leaning into what I genuinely am rather than trying to fit trends. Audiences respond to authenticity and consistency."
Steele also discusses balancing motherhood with production, choosing collaborators, returning to wider studio work, and adapting as the business moves from clip stores to subscription platforms.
"Platforms come and go, but direct-to-consumer ownership is the most valuable asset," she said, advising new performers to build a recognizable identity, own your platform, control your content, and treat it like a real business from day one."
