LOS ANGELES — Cherie DeVille, Shawn Alff, Little Puck, and Yhivi will participate in "Porn Stars Are Funny: A Comedy Sketch Show" at the Elysian in Los Angeles on Aug. 1.
The one-night show finds the four first-time sketch performers working with original material written by comedy writers and performers Hannah Berkowitz, Clare Jackson, and Matt Barrett Miller. According to a rep, Miller performs each month with a house sketch team at Upright Citizens Brigade, while Berkowitz and Jackson write for HBO’s "I Love LA." Additionally, the show will stream online.
"This is a true ensemble, which is what makes it so exciting," said DeVille. "Hannah, Matt, and Clare wrote something for all four of us to jump into, and sharing the stage with my fellow porn performers — as well as these seasoned writers and comedians — is going to be a completely new kind of chaos. I also love that people who cannot make it to Los Angeles can still watch the show live from home."
