BranditScan Launches API, Affiliate Initiatives

MONTREAL — BranditScan has launched its new public API and an affiliate program for creators.

According to a rep, the rollout spans four data APIs and five product integrations. The Google, Bing, and Yandex Search APIs return web, image, and video results with built-in piracy labeling, all checked against BranditScan's Brandit Atlas dataset of more than 5 million pirate sites, while the Piracy Data API classifies any domain or URL and returns threat ratings, tracked-leak volumes, and takedown capability per site.

The five integrations include the Leak Check Widget, a free embed that lets visitors scan for their stage name; the Self Submissions Widget, which gives a platform's entire user base free, unlimited takedowns; the SSO API, for one-tap login to the BranditScan dashboard; the Network Manager API, for roster-wide protection reporting across agencies and studios; and the Platform API, which creates accounts, launches scans, and pulls read-only scan results into a partner's own interface.

“The Leak Check Widget is free and live now,” said the rep. “Every other product is scoped to the partner, with SSO, quotas, and builds shaped around each integration, and credentials typically issued within one working day.”

The affiliate program offers businesses a lifetime 10 percent commission on every payment a referral makes, including subscriptions, renewals, and upgrades.

“The program is free to join,” added the rep. “Partners at volume can earn higher rates through an affiliate API that plugs referrals directly into their products.”

Added BranditScan CEO Gino Sciretta, “Creators already trust us to protect their work, so the fastest way to reach more of them is inside the platforms and tools they already use every day. Partners can ship real scans and unlimited takedowns as their own feature in days, and because the affiliate program pays for life, they keep earning every month their creators stay protected.”
