ASN Lifestyle Magazine Announces Cancellation of Live 2026 Awards Show

ORLANDO, Fla. — ASN Lifestyle Magazine has announced the cancellation of the live, in-person component of the 2026 ASN Awards, originally scheduled for August in Orlando, Florida.

The event will proceed in a non-live format this year, with the intention to return as a full live production in 2027.

“Over recent weeks, following the announcement of this year's nominees, we were contacted directly by several nominees who expressed serious concerns about their ability to attend the live ceremony given the current economic climate,” said Michael Ramos, owner of ASN Lifestyle Magazine. “The overwhelming majority of these concerns centered around the rapidly rising cost of travel — from gasoline and airfare to hotel accommodations — which had become a significant financial burden for many in our community.

“In listening to those voices, we were reminded that ASN Lifestyle Magazine does not exist apart from the community it serves,” added Ramos. “When our community is hurting, we are hurting. After careful consideration, we determined that moving to a non-live format was the only feasible way to honor our nominees and sponsors while putting the well-being of our community first.”

All 2026 sponsors and vendors will be honored with full placement and visibility in the non-live digital awards presentation and receive a sponsorship rollover into the 2027 live event at no additional cost. This serves as a make-whole provision for the cancellation of this year's in-person show, ensuring ASN's partners are fully compensated for their commitment and investment.

“We share in the disappointment of our community,” noted Ramos. “The ASN Awards live show is a celebration we all look forward to each year. However, the responsible decision is to pause the live component this year. We are already planning an exceptional return in 2027, and we thank our community for their continued support and understanding.”
